This hospital-based Inpatient Pharmacist role involves a broad scope of distributive and operational pharmacy duties aimed at ensuring the safe and effective use of medications for hospitalized patients. This position focuses primarily on core pharmacy functions including order verification, medication dispensing, sterile product preparation, and inventory management. The pharmacist will also provide drug information to healthcare providers and contribute to quality and safety initiatives within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and accurately dispense medications, including dosing, labeling, and controlled substances management
• Monitor patient medication profiles for drug interactions and allergies; resolve medication-related issues as needed
• Provide drug information and clinical support to healthcare teams to facilitate optimal patient care
• Prepare sterile products and IV admixtures following USP standards
• Assist with pharmacy operations such as medication inventory control, compliance with regulatory standards, and workspace maintenance

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

• Valid NY Pharmacist License
• PGY1 residency completion or strong inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
