An opportunity is available for a full-time Inpatient Pharmacist position within a hospital setting in Utica, NY. This direct hire role offers day and afternoon shifts, supporting essential pharmacy operations and patient care within a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify and dispense medications, including dosing, labeling, IV preparations, and controlled substances
• Monitor patient medication profiles for potential interactions and allergies; promptly resolve medication-related issues
• Provide drug information and clinical support to healthcare providers to ensure safe medication use
• Prepare sterile products and IV admixtures in compliance with USP guidelines
• Manage medication inventory, assist with regulatory compliance, and maintain an organized pharmacy workspace
• Participate in departmental quality assurance and safety initiatives as needed

Qualifications:

• Active New York State Pharmacist License
• Completion of PGY1 residency or strong experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy practice
• Knowledge of sterile compounding standards and medication safety protocols
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams
