A full-time clinical pharmacist position is available in a specialized mail order pharmacy focusing on diabetic medical supplies, including continuous glucose monitors (CGMs) and insulin pumps. This contract assignment is projected for 13+ weeks with the potential for a temp-to-perm opportunity for candidates holding multiple pharmacy licenses. The pharmacy operates from 8:00 am to 8:00 pm with the possibility of extended hours if workload demands.

Key Responsibilities:
- Verify and fulfill orders for boxed diabetic medical supplies, including CGMs and insulin pumps
- Collaborate closely with a dedicated team of pharmacists, technicians, clerks, and drivers to ensure accurate and timely order processing
- Utilize the Brightree program system efficiently; comprehensive training will be provided
- Maintain high standards of communication and teamwork within a fast-paced environment
- Provide clinical oversight as needed to support patient care via device dispensing
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Active California State Pharmacist License in good standing without disciplinary history (required)
- Previous experience in retail pharmacy filling preferred due to the nature of order processing
- Background in mail order pharmacy is a plus
- Excellent communication skills and a strong team-oriented mindset
- Multi-state licensure is highly desirable for temp-to-perm consideration and potential site managerial roles
Schedule:
- Pharmacy hours: 8:00 am – 8:00 pm (flexibility to stay until work completion)
