Clinical Pharmacist - Santa Ana, CA

This opportunity involves a clinical pharmacist role in an inpatient setting with a focus on operational support to ensure smooth workflow and medication verification. The position requires at least 2-3 years of recent inpatient pharmacy experience, with residency training or clinical rounding experience highly preferred. Experience with EPIC electronic medical records is essential.

Location: Santa Ana, CA (near Laguna Hills, CA)

Job Type: Contract (13 weeks)

Schedule/Hours:

• Mix of day and evening shifts
• 4x10-hour shifts per week
• Shift start times vary: 6:00 AM, 10:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 1:00 PM or 1:30 PM
• Rotating weekends

Desired Qualifications:

• Minimum 2-3 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• PGY-1 residency highly preferred
• Experience with clinical rounding a strong advantage
• Proficiency in EPIC electronic medical records system
• Strong operational and workflow management skills
• Ability to verify medications accurately and efficiently

Key Responsibilities:

• Facilitate pharmacy operations and maintain workflow pace
• Verify and check medication orders with a high degree of accuracy
• Provide clinical expertise as assigned based on experience
