Location:
- Near Santa Ana, CA, at a reputable medical center in Laguna Hills
Schedule:
- 4x10-hour shifts per week
- Mix of day and evening shifts starting between 6:00 AM and 1:30 PM
- Rotating weekends required
- Contract duration: 13 weeks starting May 11
Responsibilities:
- Maintain efficient pharmacy operations to ensure smooth workflow
- Check and verify medication orders accurately
- Perform additional duties aligned with clinical pharmacy experience
- Utilize EPIC EMR system for all documentation and verification
- Support inpatient clinical needs with a focus on patient safety and care quality
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2-3 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience
- Residency completed strongly preferred; PGY-1 candidates highly regarded
- Experience with clinical rounding advantageous
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, evolving healthcare environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy in pharmacy operations
