A unique opportunity for a clinical pharmacist to expand expertise across multiple units is available in State College, PA. This permanent role offers the chance to work in both the Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU), as well as contribute to the antibiotic stewardship team. Unlike larger hospitals where clinical pharmacists often focus on a single floor, this position provides diverse clinical exposure for skills enhancement.

Responsibilities:
- Enter and verify medication orders, review medication profiles for appropriateness, and provide clinical services tailored to the patient population.
- Collaborate in multi-disciplinary teams and participate in patient rounds according to practice area.
- Perform drug therapy monitoring and manage pharmacist consults following established protocols.
- Engage in acute care scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma within the ED and critical care settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree.
- Postgraduate Year 1 (PGY1) residency or at least 3 years of current clinical pharmacy experience.
- Licensed pharmacist in PA or eligible to obtain licensure.
- Candidates without a current PA license are encouraged to apply.
Schedule:
- Variable days and afternoons, primarily day shifts.
- 8-hour shifts.
Technology:
- Experience working with Meditech preferred.
