Night Shift Hospital Pharmacist

We're seeking an experienced Night Shift Pharmacist for a premier hospital system in Seattle. This is an excellent opportunity for pharmacists who enjoy a fast-paced inpatient environment and are looking for a long-term contract with strong temp-to-hire potential.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately using EPIC
• Perform final product verification checks to ensure safe medication dispensing
• Answer clinical questions and provide drug information to physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
• Oversee and support pharmacy technician functions
• Participate in Code Blue and emergency response situations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy best practices
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication management and dispensing workflows

Requirements:

• Active Washington Pharmacist license required
• Recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience required
• Full-time immediate availability required
• Experience with EPIC and Pyxis required
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to work independently overnight
• Experience responding to emergency situations in a hospital setting preferred
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Schedule:

• 7 on / 7 off
• Night Shift
• Approximately 9:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• ASAP start
• 4+ month contract assignment with temp-to-hire potential

Compensation for this position ranges from $63.00 to $69.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals.
