Clinical Pharmacist - Selah, Washington

A 230-bed acute care hospital in Yakima, WA is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care on a contract basis. This role offers flexibility with day or night shift schedules and the opportunity for temp-to-hire placement. The ideal candidate will have a Washington State Pharmacist License and some hospital experience.

Location:

• Yakima, WA (230-bed community hospital)

Schedule/Hours:

• Option 1: Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Option 2: 7-on, 7-off 12-hour night shifts (6 pm to 6 am)

Key Responsibilities:

• Order verification to ensure safe and correct medication dispensing
• Supervision and guidance of pharmacy technicians
• Collaboration and consultation with physicians and nursing staff
• Performing pharmacokinetic evaluations and adjustments
• Utilizing electronic systems including EPIC and Pyxis to manage medication distribution and patient care

Qualifications:

• Current Washington State Pharmacist License required
• Experience working in a hospital setting preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
