A full-time opportunity is available for a skilled Compounding Pharmacist in Shafter, CA, with an assignment extending through July 2026 and the possibility of permanent placement. This role focuses on ensuring the highest quality in sterile and non-sterile compounding within a dynamic pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the sterile and non-sterile compounding processes to maintain product integrity and safety
• Perform final verification of prescriptions, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards
• Fill, label, and prepackage medications with precision
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers regarding orders, clarifications, and refills
• Counsel patients by answering medication-related questions and providing necessary guidance
• Ensure strict compliance with USP 795, 797, 800 standards and California Board of Pharmacy regulations

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 8:15 AM – 5:15 PM
• Full-time through July 2026

Qualifications:

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution
• Active California Pharmacist license in good standing
• 3 to 5 years of pharmacy experience, with compounding expertise preferred
• Strong communication and organizational abilities essential for clear provider and patient interactions
