Inpatient Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Slaton, TX

This opportunity is for a skilled Inpatient Pharmacist to provide essential clinical and dispensing services within a 500-bed hospital setting located in Northwestern Texas. This role is designed for professionals with a background in hospital pharmacy, particularly those familiar with inpatient care and pharmacy systems.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and dispense medications for inpatient care, ensuring accuracy and safety.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient medication therapy.
• Utilize the EPIC system to document and verify medication orders efficiently.
• Monitor patient medication profiles and address any clinical issues.
• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and pharmacy regulations.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1-2 years of experience as an inpatient pharmacist, demonstrating proficiency in clinical and operational pharmacy tasks.
• Experience with the EPIC electronic health record system is highly preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts within a 7-on/7-off schedule (Wednesday-Tuesday rotation).

Schedule:

• 7 nights on, 7 nights off (Wednesday-Tuesday rotation)
