Clinical Pharmacist in Slaton, TX

This opportunity is ideal for a Clinical Pharmacist with inpatient hospital experience seeking a dynamic role in a large medical center. The position supports a 500-bed facility, including specialized care units such as a 42-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a 14-bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU). You will play a critical role in delivering comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services within a fast-paced hospital environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services to inpatient units, ensuring the safe and effective use of medications
• Collaborate with medical staff to optimize pharmacotherapy
• Manage medication dispensing and distribution in accordance with hospital protocols
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for medication orders and documentation
• Support specialized patient care in critical and neonatal units as needed

Desired Qualifications:

• 1-2 years’ experience as an inpatient pharmacist, preferably in a hospital setting
• Familiarity with the EPIC pharmacy system, especially post-Cerner conversion, is highly preferred
• Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of an interdisciplinary team

Schedule:

• 7 nights on/7 nights off, Wednesday to Tuesday rotation

Lubbock, TX (Open to travel pharmacists; candidates interested in permanent relocation will also be considered)
