A clinical pharmacist position is available at a 100-bed hospital located in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This role focuses on providing specialized pharmaceutical care, with an emphasis on chemotherapy and oncology.

The ideal candidate will have experience in oncology pharmacy practices and be familiar with healthcare technologies including EPIC and Pyxis systems. This opportunity is perfectly suited for a pharmacist eager to work in a dynamic hospital environment where collaborative care is prioritized.

Location: South Lake Tahoe, California

Schedule:

  • Four 10-hour shifts per week
  • Day shift schedule

Responsibilities:

  • Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
  • Supervise pharmacy technicians to ensure compliance and safety
  • Collaborate closely with nurses and physicians to optimize patient care
  • Manage pharmacokinetics and other specialized clinical pharmacy services

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

  • Active California pharmacist license
  • Approximately 1 year of experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, preferably with chemo/oncology exposure
  • Full-time availability
