Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Stafford, Texas

A rapidly growing compounding pharmacy in Stafford, Texas, is seeking a skilled Overnight Compounding Pharmacist for a 13-week contract with potential for permanent hire. This urgent backfill role supports a high-volume 503a/b compounding facility specializing in GLP-1 and weight loss medications. Prescription volume has surged from approximately 6,000 to over 22,000 scripts daily, making this an excellent opportunity for pharmacists experienced in fast-paced compounding environments.

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 PM – 5:00 AM (3rd Shift)

Location:

• Stafford, Texas

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized compounded medications precisely following prescriptions and established compounding standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, ingredient usage, and inventory levels
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient and timely medication preparation and delivery
• Communicate effectively with healthcare providers, patients, and team members regarding medication information and protocols
• Stay current on pharmaceutical trends and advances in sterile compounding techniques

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license valid in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in sterile compounding practice
• Familiarity with pharmacy software such as LifeFile and PK Software is preferred
• Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-growing pharmacy setting
