Clinical Pharmacist in Stafford, TX

An urgent opportunity is available for an Overnight Compounding Pharmacist to support a rapidly growing 503a/b compounding pharmacy in Stafford, Texas. This role offers a 13-week contract with the potential to transition to a permanent position. The pharmacy has recently expanded its operations, increasing from 6,000 to over 22,000 prescriptions daily, creating a high-volume, fast-paced work environment ideal for practitioners who thrive under pressure and enjoy complex pharmaceutical compounding.

Schedule & Hours:

• Overnight (3rd shift)
• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM

Location:

• Stafford, Texas

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized medications following prescriptions and compounding standards, with a focus on GLP-1 and weight loss medication formulations
• Maintain precise documentation of formulations, ingredients, and inventory
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy team members
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and support staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely delivery of medications
• Stay updated on pharmaceutical trends and advanced compounding techniques to maintain compliance and quality

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Pharmacist license in Texas
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sterile compounding
• Experience working with pharmacy software such as LifeFile and PK Software is preferred
