Clinical Staff Pharmacist - Stafford, TX

A rapidly expanding 503a/b compounding pharmacy is seeking an Overnight Clinical Pharmacist to support their high-volume operations in Stafford, Texas. This 13-week temp-to-perm assignment offers the opportunity to work on the third shift in a fast-paced environment, preparing specialized compounded medications including GLP-1 and weight loss therapies. This role requires an experienced professional eager to thrive in a setting where prescription volume has surged dramatically.

Location: Stafford, Texas
Schedule:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM (3rd Shift)

Responsibilities:

• Prepare customized medications following prescriptions and strict compounding standards
• Maintain accurate documentation of formulations, ingredients, and pharmacy inventory
• Communicate effectively with patients, healthcare providers, and pharmacy team members
• Collaborate with pharmacy technicians to ensure efficient and timely service
• Stay informed on current pharmaceutical trends and advancements in compounding techniques

Qualifications:

• Active Texas Pharmacist license in good standing
• Minimum of 1 year experience in sterile compounding settings
• Ability to manage workload in a high-volume pharmacy environment (recently increased from 6,000 to 22,000 prescriptions daily)
• Proficiency with pharmacy software such as LifeFile and PK Software is preferred
