Responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and verifying medication orders and profiles for clinical appropriateness
  • Delivering patient-specific clinical services in ED and ICU settings
  • Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and teams to optimize patient outcomes
  • Monitoring drug therapy and managing pharmacist consults per established protocols
  • Engaging in acute care scenarios such as cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma responses

Qualifications and desired experience:

  • BS in Pharmacy or PharmD degree required
  • PGY1 residency or a minimum of 3 years clinical pharmacy experience preferred
  • Pennsylvania pharmacist license or eligibility to obtain license considered; out-of-state candidates encouraged to apply
  • Familiarity with Meditech electronic health records is advantageous
