Oncology Clinical Pharmacist | Summerland, California

A leading non-profit health system in a stunning coastal California community is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Pharmacy Specialist in Oncology to join their team. Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive medication management including lab ordering, therapy selection, and adverse event monitoring
• Verify chemotherapy orders and protocols for safety, dosage accuracy, and appropriateness
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, managing side effects and improving medication adherence
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams during clinical rounds to optimize patient care
• Participate in clinical trials, manage investigational drug protocols, and develop institutional oncology guidelines

Qualifications:

• PharmD or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy degree required
• Eligibility for California pharmacist licensure
• Completion of PGY2 oncology residency or fellowship, or PGY1 plus 3 years oncology clinical specialist experience, or 5 years of oncology clinical specialist experience
• Board Certification in Oncology Pharmacy (BCOP) preferred

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, day shifts
