Clinical Pharmacist | Summit, Mississippi

A hospital-based Clinical Pharmacist role is available in a behavioral health setting, supporting medication management and safety. This contract position provides an opportunity to work independently within a specialized healthcare environment.

Location:

• Summit, MS

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM
• No weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Checking and verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Managing medication controls and inventory oversight
• Collaborating with pharmacy tech support as a solo pharmacist on-site
• Utilizing medDispense and Azalea Health electronic health record systems for documentation and medication dispensing

Qualifications:

• Licensed pharmacist with clinical experience, preferably in behavioral health or hospital pharmacy settings
• Proficiency in medication order verification and inventory management
• Ability to work independently and maintain high accuracy standards
• Familiarity with medDispense and/or Azalea Health EHR preferred

Contract Details:

• Immediate start with assignment concluding June 13th
