Clinical Pharmacist - Sun Prairie, Wisconsin

A healthcare facility in Sun Prairie, WI is seeking three experienced Inpatient Clinical Pharmacists to support their inpatient care team for a 13-week contract, beginning May 11. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to acute patient care in a fast-paced hospital setting, rotating between day and evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in inpatient/acute care environments.
• Perform pharmacokinetic dosing, renal dosing adjustments, and therapeutic medication monitoring.
• Manage drug shortages and oversee pharmacotherapy management for diverse medical conditions.
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system to document and coordinate patient care.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal medication use and patient outcomes.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient clinical pharmacy experience.
• Licensed pharmacists holding a Wisconsin license or ACT-10 license are eligible.
• Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacotherapy, dosing protocols, and clinical monitoring.
• Ability to adapt to rotating shifts, including a mix of 6:30 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. – 11:00 p.m. schedules, covering 5 days per week with rotation every third weekend.
• Travelers only; candidates located within 70 miles will not be considered.

• Successful candidates must comply with facility mask-fit testing requirements; facial hair must be shaved to ensure proper mask seal. Use of personal CAPRs or PAPRs is not permitted.
• Facility provides scrubs upon start.
