Clinical Pharmacist in Sylmar, CA

A dynamic opportunity is available for a Clinical Pharmacist specializing in inpatient care, based in Sylmar, CA. This role offers the chance to advance your career in a fast-paced hospital setting, primarily covering first and second shifts with occasional third shifts. Ideal candidates are those with a postgraduate year one residency (PGYI) or approximately two years of recent inpatient experience, including hospital internship experience.

Location: Sylmar, California

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
• Flexibility to work primarily 1st and 2nd shifts, with occasional 3rd shifts

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• PGYI preferred; however, pharmacists with some hospital experience, including internships, will be considered
• Approximately two years of current inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is highly valued
• Strong clinical knowledge and ability to adapt to a dynamic hospital environment
• Commitment to quality patient care and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacist services within an inpatient setting, ensuring safe and effective medication use
• Conduct comprehensive medication reviews and manage patient therapy plans
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for optimal patient outcomes
• Participate in patient rounds and offer medication-related recommendations
