This role is a travel position with a potential pathway to permanent employment for candidates willing to relocate. The hospital is a 500-bed facility featuring a 42-bed Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU, serving a dynamic patient population that demands expert pharmaceutical care. The facility transitioned to the EPIC electronic health record system in February, emphasizing the need for familiarity with this platform.
Location:
- Lubbock, TX
Schedule:
- 7 days on, 7 days off
- Night shifts (Wednesday to Tuesday rotation)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive inpatient pharmacy services
- Ensure safe and effective medication management for diverse patient populations, including neonatal and pediatric intensive care units
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize pharmacotherapy and improve patient outcomes
- Utilize EPIC system for clinical documentation and medication management tasks
Desired Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience is highly preferred
