We are currently seeking a skilled Outpatient Staff Pharmacist for a 13-week+ contract opportunity in Topeka, Kansas. This role is within a pediatric-focused outpatient pharmacy setting connected to a hospital system.

Assignment Details

• Location: Kansas City, MO
• Setting: Hospital-affiliated outpatient pharmacy (pediatric-focused)
• Schedule: Monday – Friday, Day Shift
• Duration: 13 weeks+
• Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately verify, prepare, and dispense prescription medications
• Support and oversee pharmacy technician workflow
• Provide medication counseling to patients and caregivers
• Ensure compliance with all applicable pharmacy regulations and standards
• Maintain safe and effective medication use in a pediatric outpatient setting
• Complete additional duties as assigned within scope of practice

Ideal Candidate Profile

• Active Kansas Pharmacist license
• Background in retail or outpatient pharmacy settings
• Available full-time for the duration of the contract
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced outpatient environment
