Clinical Pharmacist in Torrance, CA

A leading medical center in Torrance, CA is seeking a skilled Clinical Pharmacist to support an inpatient pharmacy team on a contract basis. This opportunity caters to pharmacists with a preference for those holding a PGY1 residency or approximately two years of current inpatient experience. Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist license with inpatient clinical experience
• PGY1 residency preferred but all qualified candidates will be considered
• Ability to pass a required competency exam
• Successful completion of background (Livescan) clearance
• Flexibility to work primarily first and second shifts, with occasional third shifts

Location:

• Torrance, CA (Inpatient Hospital Setting)

Responsibilities:

• Participate in daily clinical pharmacy operations within an inpatient hospital environment
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
• Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements
• Complete competency assessments and ongoing professional development as needed

Schedule:

• 8-hour shifts
