Clinical Pharmacist in Troy, MI

This opportunity is for an experienced clinical pharmacist to work in a specialty compounding pharmacy environment. The role focuses on verifying compounded medications and sterile injectables, managing a high-volume workflow with accuracy and efficiency. The position is a contract assignment lasting 4 to 8 weeks, with the possibility of extension.

Location:

• Troy, MI

Schedule/Hours:

• Monday through Friday
• 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

Responsibilities:

• Accurately verify compounded medications and sterile injectable preparations
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in compounding procedures
• Manage a high volume of prescriptions efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to support daily operations in a specialty compounding setting

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Active Michigan Pharmacy License required
• Proven experience as a pharmacist, specifically with sterile injectables and compounding
• Strong knowledge of pharmacy regulations and safety protocols related to compounding
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
