Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide drug information and participate in multidisciplinary rounds and teams per assigned practice areas.
  • Monitor drug therapy and perform pharmacist-managed consults following established protocols.
  • Actively engage in acute patient care scenarios, including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma, particularly within ED and critical care settings.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (BS) or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
  • Completion of PGY-1 residency or a minimum of three years’ recent clinical pharmacy experience.
  • Licensed pharmacist with current Pennsylvania license or eligible to obtain licensure.
  • Experience with Meditech or similar electronic health records preferred.

Location & Schedule:

  • State College, Pennsylvania, a vibrant community home to Penn State University, known for its beautiful surroundings and quality of life.
  • Variable day and afternoon shifts, primarily 8-hour day shifts with flexible scheduling.

Benefits & Perks:

  • Competitive annual compensation ranging approximately from $108,000 to $169,000, with a midpoint around $139,000.
  • Relocation assistance is available to support your move.
  • Open to candidates without a current Pennsylvania license.
  • Opportunity to develop diverse clinical skills across multiple hospital units.
