This opportunity offers a 13-week contract position as a Clinical Pharmacist at a JCAHO-accredited health center serving a broad region on the Navajo and Hopi Reservations. Situated in a unique and culturally rich environment, the facility provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient care with a diverse medical and dental staff.

Location: Tuba City, AZ
Schedule:

  • 4x10-hour shifts per week
  • Rotating shifts starting at 8:00am, 9:00am, 10:00am, or 12:00pm
  • Weekdays and weekends may include assigned shifts
  • Regular days off may fluctuate

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive pharmacy and medication management services at main campus and satellite clinics
  • Deliver direct patient care for diverse populations including neonatal, pediatric, adult, geriatric, oncology, and obstetric patients
  • Engage in rotational shifts covering days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Participate in career development from Pharmacist to Advanced Practice Pharmacist with increasing clinical and administrative duties
  • For Advanced Practice Pharmacists II, oversee specialized clinics, analyze clinical services, administer policies, and manage pharmacy operations and staff supervision

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree accredited by the American Council of Pharmaceutical Education
  • Current, valid, unrestricted pharmacy license from any U.S. state or territory
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
  • Minimum two years as a Registered Pharmacist
  • Minimum one year as a Clinical Pharmacist
  • Fingerprinting clearance required prior to start

Additional Details:

  • No Arizona license required for this assignment
  • Limited shared housing available at $600/month; no pets or family allowed per facility policy
