Clinical Pharmacist in Tulsa, OK

A full-time Clinical Pharmacist position is available for the evening shift in Tulsa, OK, working from 2:00 PM to 10:30 PM.

This role focuses on optimizing patient care by ensuring pharmaceutical services are appropriate, safe, and cost-effective. Responsibilities include drug dispensing, overseeing the IV admixture program, providing drug information, and supervising pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff. The Clinical Pharmacist works under the direction of pharmacy leadership to maintain high standards of practice.

Responsibilities:

• Provide safe and effective pharmaceutical care to patients
• Dispense medications accurately and efficiently
• Manage and oversee IV admixture preparation
• Offer drug information and support to healthcare teams
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, students, and support staff
• Collaborate with pharmacy leadership to enhance pharmaceutical services

Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science or Doctor of Pharmacy degree from an ACPE-accredited school
• Active Pharmacist license in good standing with the Oklahoma State Board of Pharmacy
• BLS certification obtained within 14 days of hire and before providing direct patient care
• ACLS certification required to attend Code Blue situations
• Preferred: Doctor of Pharmacy degree and at least 1 year of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
