Clinical Pharmacist - Tylertown, Mississippi

This opportunity is for a Hospital Pharmacist specializing in Clinical Pharmacy within a Behavioral Health/Psychiatric setting. The position is based in Tylertown, MS, offering a focused work schedule from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday, with no weekend shifts. This role is a contract assignment running through June 13th, starting as soon as possible.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough checking, verification, and control processes for medication dispensing.
• Operate as the solo licensed pharmacist on-site, ensuring accuracy and safety in medication management.
• Collaborate closely with pharmacy technicians who provide support in daily operations.
• Utilize medDispense and Azalea Health electronic health record systems to manage pharmacy documentation and medication orders.

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

• Valid Pharmacist license with experience in clinical pharmacy.
• Prior exposure to behavioral health or psychiatric pharmacy is highly preferred.
• Proficiency or familiarity with medDispense and/or Azalea Health EHR systems.
• Ability to work independently as the sole pharmacist, demonstrating strong decision-making skills.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and communication abilities.
