A leadership opportunity is available for an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to serve as Interim Director of Pharmacy in a hospital setting. This role offers the chance to lead a small pharmacy team while managing pharmacy services at a facility that supports outpatient clinics and surgical care.

Location: Great Falls, MT
Position Type: Travel, Interim (approximately 3+ months)
Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday
  • 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
  • No weekend or on-call duties

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily pharmacy operations and serve as the Pharmacy in Charge (PIC)
  • Lead and stabilize a pharmacy staff of 2-3 full-time pharmacists
  • Guide ongoing projects including clean room renovation and pharmacy IT system enhancements using Touchpoint automation
  • Conduct financial analyses related to the infusion center and other pharmacy services
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and maintain high professional standards

Desired Qualifications:

  • Active Montana pharmacy license required
  • Proven experience in hospital pharmacy management
  • Background in outpatient clinics and surgical hospital pharmacy preferred
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a small team
  • Experience managing pharmacy automation systems and IT projects
