Clinical Pharmacist in University Park, PA

This opportunity is for a licensed Pharmacist to support a community hospital with approximately 150 beds in a dynamic clinical setting. The role demands a pharmacist who is ready to step in and contribute immediately, with responsibilities centered around inpatient care and collaboration with clinical teams.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders accurately and timely
• Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure workflow efficiency and compliance
• Consulting with physicians and healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication therapy
• Utilizing pharmacy systems such as Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis for medication management and documentation

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Valid Pennsylvania pharmacist license is required
• Minimum of one year inpatient pharmacy experience in a hospital setting
• Proficiency or experience with Meditech is highly preferred and considered a major advantage
• Ability to work full-time with flexible availability for variable day and afternoon shifts

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons with some flexibility offered to accommodate personal and clinical needs
