Clinical Staff Pharmacist - University Park, Pennsylvania

This opportunity offers a key role as a Pharmacist within a hospital setting, supporting a community hospital with approximately 150 beds. The position requires a licensed pharmacist with a solid inpatient background who is ready to contribute to patient care teams through clinical expertise and collaboration.

Responsibilities include:

• Verifying medication orders to ensure accuracy and safety
• Supervising and guiding pharmacy technicians in daily tasks
• Consulting with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication therapies
• Utilizing electronic systems such as Meditech, PharmacyKeeper, and Pyxis to manage dispensing and documentation

Ideal candidates will possess:

• A current PA pharmacist license
• At least one year of inpatient pharmacy experience
• Full-time availability to cover variable day and afternoon shifts with some scheduling flexibility
• Experience with Meditech pharmacy software is strongly preferred

This contract position is set to begin as soon as possible and will last approximately 5 to 6 months or longer. The schedule offers variable shifts, primarily during days and afternoons, and allows some flexibility to accommodate personal needs.
