Clinical Pharmacist in University Park, PA

This direct hire opportunity offers a dynamic Clinical Pharmacist role working across Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU) settings, as well as contributing to the antibiotic stewardship team. Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons
• Primarily 8-hour day shifts

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders and profiles for clinical appropriateness
• Provide clinical services tailored to patient needs in ED and ICU settings
• Participate in multidisciplinary rounds and contribute to patient care decisions
• Monitor drug therapy and manage consults according to established protocols
• Actively engage in acute care scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma
• Support the antibiotic stewardship program to optimize antimicrobial use

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required
• Completion of PGY1 residency or a minimum of 3 years current clinical pharmacy experience
• Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or able to obtain licensure promptly
• Experience with Meditech preferred

This role offers a competitive salary range from $108,000 to $169,000 annually, with a midpoint of approximately $139,000. Relocation assistance may be available for qualified candidates.
