Travel Clinical Pharmacist | Vaughn, Montana

This travel opportunity seeks an experienced pharmacy professional to serve as an Interim Director of Pharmacy, taking on the Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) responsibilities at a hospital site near Great Falls, Montana. The position requires strong leadership and hospital pharmacy management skills to oversee and stabilize pharmacy operations in a small but busy outpatient and surgical hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and management oversight for pharmacy services at the hospital
• Serve as PIC, ensuring compliance with regulations and quality standards
• Lead and support a pharmacy staff of 2-3 full-time pharmacists daily
• Manage ongoing projects including clean room renovation and medication technology IT system upgrades
• Conduct financial analysis related to the infusion center operations
• Foster a professional environment to stabilize pharmacy services and promote efficiency

Qualifications and Experience:

• Current Montana pharmacist license required
• Proven experience in hospital pharmacy management, preferably with outpatient clinics and surgical hospitals
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small pharmacy team effectively
• Familiarity with Touchpoint automation system is preferred
• Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call responsibilities

This contract role is available immediately and expected to last approximately three months or until the regular position is filled. Candidates should be flexible to travel and relocate as needed.
