Join a dynamic inpatient pharmacy team supporting high-quality patient care in a well-established medical center. We are seeking two Clinical Pharmacists to provide expert medication management and clinical support in an inpatient setting. This contract opportunity offers a chance to work full time with varied shifts and flexible scheduling, with the potential for temp-to-hire.

Location: Ventura County Medical Center, Ventura, CA
Job Type: Contract (approximately 3 to 6 months, with temp-to-hire possibility)
Start Date: ASAP
Schedule:

• Full-time hours
• Primarily 4 ten-hour shifts per week
• Some swing shifts, weekends, and holiday coverage may be required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services including medication review, dosing, monitoring, and patient counseling
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy management and ensure patient safety
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and support medication-related decisions
• Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with pharmacy policies and regulations

Qualifications:

• Valid California Pharmacist license required
• Experience working with Cerner preferred; training available for the right candidate
• Strong clinical knowledge and commitment to patient-centered care
• Ability to adapt to variable shifts and contribute effectively in a fast-paced hospital environment
