Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist | Vine Grove, Kentucky

Provide critical inpatient pharmacy support at a small, 25-bed critical access hospital specializing in delivering attentive care. This per diem opportunity is available Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, specifically from June 22nd to June 26th, to support PRN needs in the inpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Supervise and monitor pharmacy technician activities
• Manage medication cart fills to ensure timely availability
• Dispense medications through the Pyxis system
• Apply strong clinical knowledge to support patient care and medication management

Qualifications:

• Current, clear, and active KY pharmacy license
• Minimum of 1 year recent inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
• Preferred experience with Cerner electronic health record system
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team
• Solid clinical pharmacy knowledge and patient care focus
