Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist in Vine Grove, KY

Provide clinical pharmacy support at a critical access hospital with a focus on inpatient care during a scheduled PRN assignment from June 22nd to June 26th. This role is located in Vine Grove, KY, and involves supporting the hospital’s pharmacy operations Monday through Friday, from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM. The facility is a small 25-bed hospital with an average census of 8 to 15 patients, offering a hands-on environment where clinical expertise is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Monitor and support pharmacy technicians in their daily tasks
• Manage and complete cart fills to ensure timely medication delivery
• Oversee Pyxis dispensing system to maintain proper medication distribution
• Collaborate with healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes through strong clinical knowledge

Qualifications:

• Active and clear Kentucky pharmacy license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient pharmacy experience
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is preferred
• Strong interpersonal communication skills; must be a people-oriented professional
• Solid clinical pharmacy knowledge with the ability to apply it in a hospital setting
