A clinical pharmacist opportunity is available in Virginia Beach, VA, at a reputable medical center for a 13-week contract starting Tuesday, May 26. This role involves providing expert pharmacy services on rotating inpatient shifts within a dynamic healthcare setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify and process medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Manage IV therapies and administer pain-controlled analgesia
• Oversee antibiotic regimens and manage drug interactions
• Participate in order entry and medication verification processes
• Utilize EPIC for electronic medical records (EMR) charting with precision
• Support clinical pharmacy services including chemotherapy, anticoagulants, pharmacokinetic dosing, and renal dosing (preferred)

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum 1 year of inpatient pharmacy experience is required
• Demonstrated expertise in IV medication administration, pain control, antibiotics, and medication order verification
• EPIC EMR charting experience is mandatory
• Preferred experience with chemotherapy, anticoagulant therapy, pharmacokinetic and renal dosing
• Travel experience within pharmacy roles is advantageous
