An acute care hospital with 230 beds seeks a skilled clinical pharmacist to join their team on a 13-week contract with the potential to transition to a permanent role. Setting: 230-bed acute care community hospital
Schedule Options:

• Four 10-hour day shifts per week
• Seven consecutive 12-hour night shifts (6 pm to 6 am), followed by seven days off

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians to maintain efficient medication distribution
• Consult with physicians and nurses regarding pharmacotherapy and patient care plans
• Apply clinical expertise in pharmacokinetics and medication management
• Utilize EPIC and Pyxis systems for medication documentation and dispensing

Qualifications & Experience:

• Active Washington State Pharmacist License
• Experience working in a hospital or acute care setting preferred
