Join an inpatient hospital team as a Clinical Hospital Staff Pharmacist, supporting patient care through expert pharmaceutical services. This contract position is based in Waukegan, IL, with a duration of 13 weeks and the possibility for extension. The role involves rotating between first and second shifts, including weekend coverage, ensuring continuous support across different times of the day.

Schedule:

• Rotating shifts: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM and 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Rotating weekends

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services in an inpatient hospital setting.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy management.
• Support oncology patient care with specialized pharmaceutical expertise (preferred).
• Utilize the Cerner system for medication order verification, documentation, and clinical interventions.

Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois pharmacy license required.
• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience.
• Oncology experience preferred to enhance patient-focused care.
• Experience with Cerner electronic health records is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively on rotating shifts and weekends.
