This opportunity is for a Clinical Hospital Staff Pharmacist role within an inpatient hospital environment. The position involves rotating between first and second shifts over a 13-week contract period, with the possibility of extension. The schedule includes weekend rotations, providing a varied workweek to support patient care needs.

Work Schedule:

• Rotating 1st shift: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Rotating 2nd shift: 2:30 PM – 10:00 PM
• Weekend rotation required

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive clinical pharmacy services within an inpatient setting
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize medication therapy and patient outcomes
• Utilize the Cerner computer system to manage medication orders and patient records
• Support oncology patients with specialized pharmaceutical care (preferred)

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience is essential
• Oncology pharmacy experience is highly preferred
• Proficiency with Cerner electronic health records is an advantage
• Active Illinois pharmacy license required
