This opportunity is for a Clinical Hospital Staff Pharmacist to support inpatient care in a dynamic hospital setting. You will work a rotating schedule covering first and second shifts, contributing to high-quality medication management and patient safety in a fast-paced environment.

Location:

  • Waukegan, IL

Schedule:

  • Rotating first shift (7:00 AM – 3:30 PM) and second shift (2:30 PM – 10:00 PM)
  • Rotating weekends
  • 13-week contract with potential for extension

Responsibilities:

  • Provide clinical pharmacy services within an inpatient hospital environment
  • Collaborate closely with healthcare teams to ensure effective medication therapy management
  • Utilize Cerner electronic medical record system to document and support clinical decisions
  • Monitor patient responses to medications, including oncology treatments if applicable
  • Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory guidelines

Qualifications / Desired Experience:

  • Active Illinois pharmacy license
  • Strong inpatient clinical pharmacy experience
  • Oncology experience preferred
  • Experience working with Cerner electronic medical records system is a plus
