Clinical Pharmacist - Waukesha, WI

Join a dedicated healthcare team providing essential inpatient pharmacy services at a well-established hospital. This 13-week contract opportunity is based in Waukesha, WI, with shifts starting June 8. The position offers a mix of day (6:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.) and evening (2:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.) shifts, working five 8-hour days per week with rotating every third weekend.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver expert clinical pharmacy services within an inpatient/acute care setting
• Manage pharmacokinetic and renal dosing, ensuring safe and effective medication use
• Oversee therapeutic medication monitoring and pharmacotherapy management for diverse medical conditions
• Address drug shortage challenges to maintain optimal patient care
• Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system for accurate documentation and communication

Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years recent inpatient pharmacy experience preferred
• Proficiency in acute care pharmacy practices and clinical decision-making
• Experience with pharmacokinetic dosing and therapeutic drug monitoring
• Ability to manage renal dosing adjustments
• Licensed to practice in Wisconsin with an ACT-10 license accepted

Additional Requirements:

• Travelers must comply with strict mask-fit testing policies; shaving for proper mask seal is mandatory as CAPRs or PAPRs are not permitted or provided
• Scrubs will be supplied upon start of assignment
