Clinical Pharmacist - Waukesha, WI

A Clinical Pharmacist opportunity is available for a contract-to-hire role in Waukesha, WI, focusing on delivering expert pharmacy services with an emphasis on IV therapy and sterile compounding. Candidates will initially engage in a contract assignment lasting a minimum of six months before potential transition to a permanent position.

Location: Waukesha, WI
Job Type: Contract to Hire
Schedule:

• Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM (8-hour shifts)
• On-call every 4th weekend and one night per week

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active and clear Wisconsin pharmacist license
• Minimum of 2 years recent sterile compounding experience, with IV preparation expertise required
• Recent IV experience is mandatory
• CPR certification preferred
• At least 2 years recent home infusion experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities:

• Verify IV medication orders accurately and efficiently
• Prepare and mix intravenous solutions in the clean room environment as needed
• Perform clinical pharmacy duties including medication management and patient care support
• Respond to on-call needs in rotation
