An opportunity is available for a Staff Pharmacist specializing in inpatient clinical pharmacy. This role focuses on delivering expert pharmaceutical care within a hospital setting, ensuring optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management.

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services for inpatient populations, including medication therapy management and patient counseling
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize medication use
• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy, appropriateness, and safety
• Monitor patient responses and adjust treatments as necessary
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceuticals and clinical guidelines
• Participate in safety and quality improvement initiatives within the pharmacy department

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

• Current pharmacist license valid in New York
• Experience in inpatient clinical pharmacy practice preferred
• Strong knowledge of medication therapy and hospital protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for healthcare team collaboration
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities
