Responsibilities:
- Accurately enter and verify medication orders; review medication profiles for appropriateness.
- Provide specialized clinical services tailored to patient populations.
- Serve as a drug information resource.
- Participate actively in multidisciplinary rounds and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Monitor drug therapy and manage pharmacist-led consults according to protocol.
- Respond to acute patient scenarios including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma in ED and critical care settings.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
- PGY1 residency or a minimum of three years of current clinical pharmacy experience.
- Licensed pharmacist in Pennsylvania or ability to obtain licensure; candidates without a PA license are welcome to apply.
- Proficiency with Meditech electronic health records preferred.
Schedule:
- Primarily day shifts with some variability in afternoons.
- 8-hour shifts.
