A healthcare facility in Westwood, NJ is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a 13-week contract assignment starting September 8. This position is ideal for a pharmacist with inpatient experience looking to work a standard weekday schedule while gaining exposure to a new environment. Candidates living within 50 miles of the location are not considered, and first-time travel pharmacists are encouraged to apply.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday through Friday
- 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
Responsibilities:
- Manage inpatient pharmacy duties, ensuring safe and effective medication use
- Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient therapy
- Utilize the EPIC electronic medical record system to document and review medication orders
- Provide clinical interventions and support for patient care decisions
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in an inpatient pharmacy setting
- Proficient with EPIC or similar EMR systems
- Licensed pharmacist in good standing
- Willingness to relocate or travel for the duration of the contract
