Key Responsibilities:

  • Accurately verify and dispense medications, including proper dosing, labeling, and handling of IV and controlled substances.

  • Provide timely drug information and clinical support to nursing and medical staff.
  • Perform sterile compounding in compliance with USP guidelines, including preparation of IV admixtures.
  • Manage pharmacy inventory, support regulatory compliance efforts, and maintain an organized, clean central pharmacy workspace.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Current NY Pharmacist License is required.
  • Completion of PGY1 residency or extensive inpatient hospital experience preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy operations and medication management.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety and quality standards.

Location and Schedule:

  • Position is based in Utica, NY.
  • Work schedule includes days and afternoons, providing a balanced work-life framework.
