A healthcare facility in the Los Angeles area is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist to support outpatient oncology infusion services. This contract role offers an opportunity to work night shifts while applying your oncology pharmacy expertise in a dynamic, patient-focused environment.

Location: Los Angeles area (specific site TBD within the metro region)
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 12:00 AM to 9:00 AM
Duration: 13 weeks or longer
Setting: Outpatient Oncology Infusion
Start Date: Immediate availability preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Verify intravenous (IV) chemotherapy and other infusions with accuracy and adherence to safety protocols
  • Ensure compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards for sterile compounding and hazardous drug handling
  • Collaborate with the oncology care team to optimize medication safety and patient care
  • Utilize EPIC electronic medical records for documentation and order verification

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Licensed Pharmacist with active state licensure and ability to practice in California
  • Demonstrated experience in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy practice
  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with IV verification processes
  • Solid understanding of USP 797 and USP 800 guidelines
  • Familiarity with EPIC or similar electronic health record systems preferred
  • Ability to work independently during night shift hours
