A leading 400-bed teaching hospital in North Texas seeks an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join their team on a contract basis, with potential for temp-to-hire or permanent placement. Location: Wichita Falls, TX
Type: Contract (13 weeks) with strong temp-to-hire potential
Schedule: Variable days/afternoons; possibilities include a 7-on, 7-off rotation

Responsibilities:

• Provide clinical pharmacy services, including medication therapy management and consultation for healthcare teams
• Participate in patient rounds alongside medical staff to ensure optimal pharmacologic care
• Monitor patient responses, adjust treatments as necessary, and ensure compliance with hospital protocols
• Educate staff and patients on safe and effective medication use
• Contribute to the hospital’s teaching mission by mentoring pharmacy students and residents, as applicable

Qualified candidates will have:

• Active Texas pharmacist license
• Completion of a pharmacy residency program (PGY-1 or higher preferred)
• Strong clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills
• Effective communication and interdisciplinary collaboration abilities
