Clinical Pharmacist in Wichita Falls, TX

A teaching hospital in North Texas is seeking a Clinical Pharmacist for a contract assignment. This role offers an excellent opportunity to provide high-level clinical pharmacy services in a fast-paced, ~400 bed facility. The position is ideally suited for a residency-trained pharmacist who is TX-licensed and clinically sharp, with strong expertise in patient care and medication management.

Responsibilities include:

• Providing clinical pharmacy services and medication therapy management to enhance patient outcomes
• Collaborating closely with the medical team to ensure safe and effective medication use
• Conducting thorough clinical assessments and making therapeutic recommendations based on best practices
• Participating in multidisciplinary rounds and maintaining detailed documentation
• Educating patients and healthcare staff on medication therapy considerations

Qualifications:

• Current Texas pharmacist license required
• Completion of a pharmacy residency strongly preferred
• Demonstrated clinical aptitude and critical thinking skills
• Ability to adapt to variable schedules and work effectively in a dynamic hospital environment
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities

Schedule:

• Variable days and afternoons, with potential flexibility to a 7 on, 7 off schedule
