An immediate need exists for a skilled Infusion Pharmacist to support a dynamic pharmacy operation in Greensboro, NC. This per diem contract assignment offers an excellent opportunity to apply your expertise in home infusion and sterile compounding while working in a patient-centered environment. Candidates with recent infusion experience and strong knowledge of USP <797>/<800> standards will thrive in this fast-paced role. There is potential for long-term placement or permanent hire for those interested.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for infusion therapies with accuracy
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensure strict compliance with USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Provide clinical support and drug information to pharmacy staff and patients
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and patient safety
• Maintain detailed documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements

Schedule/Shift:

• Immediate coverage needed: April 8, 9, and 10
• Week of April 27–May 1: Minimum 2 days required
• Additional dates to be confirmed, typically a few days weekly

Qualifications:

• Active North Carolina Pharmacist license in good standing
• Recent infusion or home infusion experience required
• Strong sterile compounding skills with understanding of USP <797>/<800>
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly in a fast-paced setting

Additional Information:

• Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) responsibilities not required unless converted to permanent hire; willingness to become PIC if hired permanently is necessary
• This contract provides a pathway to a temp-to-perm placement for dedicated professionals
