An infusion pharmacy opportunity is available in Greensboro, NC for a skilled Infusion Pharmacist. This contract assignment offers immediate start dates with the potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. The role emphasizes clinical expertise in home infusion within a fast-paced, patient-centric pharmacy setting.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders specific to infusion therapies
• Oversee sterile preparation and dispensing of compounded medications
• Ensure strict adherence to USP <797> and <800> standards for sterile compounding
• Provide clinical drug information and support to healthcare staff and patients
• Collaborate with pharmacy team members to sustain workflow and enhance patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and ensure regulatory compliance

Qualifications and Experience:

• Active pharmacist license valid in North Carolina, in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy practice
• Strong expertise in sterile compounding techniques
• In-depth knowledge of USP <797> and <800> guidelines
• Ability to work independently with quick adaptability to changing environments

Schedule/Hours:

• Immediate coverage needed on April 8, 9, and 10
• Minimum two days during the week of April 27 through May 1
• Additional shifts likely to be scheduled on a weekly basis

Additional Information:

• This position does not require serving as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) during contract assignment
• Must be willing to assume PIC responsibilities if transferred to permanent hire status
• Temporary contract with the option to convert to permanent employment
