Per Diem Clinical Pharmacist | Winston-Salem, North Carolina

An immediate need exists for an experienced Infusion Pharmacist to support pharmacy operations in Greensboro, NC. This per diem contract role focuses on providing expert infusion therapy services with the potential for long-term placement or permanent hire. Candidates should have a solid background in home infusion and sterile compounding, excelling in a fast-paced, patient-centric environment.

Responsibilities:

• Review and verify medication orders for infusion therapies
• Oversee preparation and dispensing of sterile compounded medications
• Ensure compliance with USP <797> and <800> standards
• Provide clinical support and drug information to staff and patients
• Collaborate with the pharmacy team to maintain efficient workflow and patient safety
• Maintain accurate documentation and regulatory compliance

Schedule:

• Immediate coverage needed on April 8, April 9, and April 10
• Week of April 27 to May 1: minimum 2 days coverage required
• Additional days will likely be scheduled weekly

Qualifications:

• Active Pharmacist license in North Carolina in good standing
• Recent experience in infusion or home infusion pharmacy settings
• Strong sterile compounding expertise
• Familiarity with USP <797> and <800> compliance standards
• Ability to work independently with adaptability in a dynamic environment

Additional Information:

• Not required to act as Pharmacist-in-Charge (PIC) during contract period unless converted to permanent hire
• Willingness to assume PIC responsibilities if hired permanently
