Clinical Pharmacist - Winter Haven, Florida

This opportunity calls for a skilled clinical pharmacist to support an outpatient/infusion center pharmacy focused on oncology care. The ideal candidate will have experience working with chemotherapy patients and a strong clinical background in oncology or related inpatient settings.

Schedule & Location:

• Monday through Friday, day shifts
• Position based in Winter Haven, FL
• Immediate start, with an initial assignment of 13 weeks plus
• Temp-to-hire opportunity for long-term placement

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders with precision to ensure patient safety
• Supervise pharmacy technicians, maintaining efficient workflow and compliance
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient medication regimens
• Provide clinical consults and recommendations, particularly concerning oncology therapies

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active Florida Pharmacist license required
• Experience in chemotherapy and oncology pharmacy practice preferred; experience from inpatient oncology settings is acceptable
• Strong communication and leadership skills to effectively manage pharmacy technicians and interact with clinical staff
