Clinical Pharmacist in Wolfforth, TX

This opportunity is ideal for a clinical pharmacist with inpatient experience seeking a challenging role in a hospital setting. The position is based in Lubbock, TX, at a 500-bed facility with specialized units, including a 42-bed NICU and a 14-bed Pediatric ICU. The hospital recently transitioned to the EPIC system from Cerner, making familiarity with EPIC highly desirable.

Schedule and Location:

• 7 days on, 7 days off night shift (Wednesday to Tuesday rotation)
• Travel position with the possibility of permanent placement for candidates willing to relocate

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general inpatient pharmacy duties, ensuring safe and effective medication use for hospitalized patients
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Utilize the EPIC system to document and review medication orders accurately

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• 1 to 2 years of inpatient pharmacy experience, preferably in a hospital environment
• Experience using the EPIC electronic medical record system, highly preferred given recent system conversion
• Strong clinical knowledge and the ability to work independently during night shifts
