Assignment Details
Role: Inpatient Staff Pharmacist
Duration: 13+ weeks
Start: ASAP
Schedule: Variable day and afternoon shifts
Technology: EPIC and Pyxis
Responsibilities
- Medication order verification
- Clinical pharmacy services and physician consultation
- Pharmacokinetic dosing and monitoring
- Supervision of pharmacy technicians
- Participation in daily inpatient pharmacy operations
- Ensuring medication safety and regulatory compliance
Requirements
- Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License
- Inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- EPIC experience required
- Experience with oncology and/or chemotherapy medications required
Ideal Candidate
The ideal pharmacist will have several years of inpatient experience, strong clinical judgment, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment. Oncology exposure and EPIC proficiency are essential for success in this role.
