Director of Pharmacy | Antioch, Tennessee

This acute care hospital near Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking an experienced Director of Pharmacy to lead its well-established pharmacy team. This role requires a dedicated pharmacy leader prepared to travel and commit to a meaningful, onsite leadership assignment Monday through Friday. The position offers a contract-to-hire opportunity within a supportive community hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a large pharmacy team to ensure optimal patient care and operational efficiency
• Oversee budget management and financial operations of the pharmacy department
• Collaborate closely with physicians, nursing staff, and hospital administration to promote integrated healthcare delivery
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards
• Develop and mentor pharmacy staff to build a high-performing team

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist License required
• PharmD or BS in Pharmacy required
• Minimum of 3 years of hospital pharmacy management experience
• Minimum of 3 to 5 years of overall hospital pharmacy experience
• Proven ability in budget management and financial oversight
• Demonstrated leadership skills managing large pharmacy teams
• Strong collaboration skills with multi-disciplinary healthcare teams
