Director of Pharmacy in Antioch, TN

This leadership role directs pharmacy compliance and operational excellence for a fast-growing dermatology pharmacy serving 17 states. The organization is committed to simplifying complex challenges and delivering affordable, high-quality solutions for dermatology patients while fostering a culture centered on compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Location:

• Primarily onsite at the administrative office in Franklin, TN
• Some limited remote flexibility, especially on Wednesdays when the admin team works remotely
• Quarterly travel to pharmacy location in Abilene, TX required
• Relocation assistance may be available for the right candidate

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• No weekends or on-call duties

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board compliance readiness efforts
• Develop scalable SOPs, compliance workflows, and documentation systems
• Conduct mock audits to proactively identify and address operational and compliance gaps
• Maintain multi-state pharmacy licensure tracking and compliance standards
• Create and deliver compliance training programs for pharmacy staff
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance operational accountability and quality assurance
• Drive consistency and audit readiness across multiple pharmacy sites

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Active Tennessee Pharmacist license (other backgrounds considered)
• Minimum 5 years in pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance preferred
• Leadership experience with a track record of building processes and driving operational improvement
• Strong knowledge of URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP standards, DEA, and state board regulations
• Excellent organizational, communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
• Proficient with compliance systems, spreadsheets, LMS platforms, and reporting tools
