This leadership role centers on ensuring top-tier compliance standards across multiple states while supporting a mission to simplify patient care and deliver affordable solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead preparation and readiness efforts for URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board compliance audits.
- Develop and implement scalable SOPs, compliance workflows, tracking systems, and documentation processes.
- Conduct mock audits and proactively identify operational gaps and compliance vulnerabilities.
- Maintain multi-state licensure tracking and operational compliance standards.
- Create and lead compliance training initiatives for pharmacy staff.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leadership to strengthen operational accountability and quality assurance.
- Drive consistency, structure, and audit readiness across pharmacy locations.
Qualifications:
- Active Tennessee Pharmacist license; candidates with diverse backgrounds will be considered.
- Minimum 5 years of pharmacy compliance, accreditation, regulatory oversight, or quality assurance experience; leadership experience required.
- Strong knowledge of URAC, NABP/VIPPS, USP 795/800, DEA, and state board regulations preferred.
- Proven ability to build systems, improve processes, and drive operational accountability.
- Excellent organizational, documentation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
- Proficiency with compliance systems, spreadsheets, LMS platforms, and reporting tools.
Location & Schedule:
- Primarily onsite in Franklin, TN with limited remote flexibility following onboarding.
- Quarterly travel required to pharmacy location in Abilene, TX.
- Monday – Friday, 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM with no on-call duties or weekend work.
- Preference for local candidates; relocation assistance may be available for exceptional talent.
