Director of Pharmacy in Bellevue, NE

This role is an opportunity to lead pharmacy operations in an inpatient behavioral health setting, providing interim leadership until a permanent director is hired. The position offers a Monday through Friday schedule, working six hours per day, allowing for a balanced workweek.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Manage medication repackaging processes including Milt/Medi-dose or HCL systems.
• Utilize Omnicell systems to efficiently load drugs into automated machines and generate restock reports.
• Collaborate with clinical teams to optimize pharmaceutical care for behavioral health patients.
• Support staff training and development to maintain high-quality service delivery.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Licensed Pharmacist in the state of Iowa.
• Experience with Omnicell technology is preferred.
• Familiarity with medication repackaging using Milt/Medi-dose or HCL.
• Basic understanding of automated drug dispensing machines and inventory management.
• Strong leadership skills and experience managing pharmacy staff.
